Athletic Association Board of Directors

The District 92 Athletic Association Board of Directors is made up of parent volunteers. The primary responsibility of the Board is to design, enact, and enforce policies directly related to the Athletic Association Basketball Program. No program affecting decisions shall be made without Association Board approval.

 


MIKE PEETZ - PRESIDENT

The primary role of the President is to conduct and/or oversee all Association business and affairs. The President acts as the liaison between the Athletic Association and the District 92 School Administration.

TAMMY BARANOWSKI - VICE PRESIDENT

The primary role of the Vice President is to fill in for the President if he/she cannot fulfill any of the responsibilities of the position.

LOUIS KOEPEL- SECRETARY

The primary role of the Secretary is to attend and participate in all Athletic Association monthly meetings and record all minutes at any/all regular and/or special meetings of the Association and prepare agenda for future meetings. Additionally, the Secretary will handle all of the correspondence required by the association (letters, memos, etc).

MIKE TANGUAY - TREASURER

The primary role of the Treasurer is to maintain an account of Association financial activity and present the financial report at every scheduled Association meeting. Additionally, the Treasurer will work with the District 92 Administrative Office to make any/all Association deposits and check requests for the Association.

SYLVIA PEETZ - SCHEDULING DIRECTOR

The primary role of the Scheduling Director is to schedule all regular season practices as well as all regular season home and away games. Additionally, the Scheduling Director is responsible for scheduling all referees for home games and the District 92 tournament.

LILY LOSICH - TOURNAMENT CONCESSIONS DIRECTOR

The primary role of the Tournament Concessions Director is to manage all concessions details of the annual tournament and assist with the volunteer schedules.

STEVE BARANOWSKI - TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR

The primary role of the Tournament Director is to manage all affairs of the annual tournament including invitations, brackets, and volunteer schedules.

JESSE NONTE- AWARDS DIRECTOR

The primary role of the Awards Director is to handle all aspects of season and tournament trophies/awards for all grade levels, including pricing, ordering, receiving, and distribution.

CHRIS EGELHOF - UNIFORMS DIRECTOR

The primary role of the Uniforms Director is to handle all aspects of uniforms for all grade levels, including pricing, ordering, receiving, and distribution.

FRANK DIGIOVANNI - EQUIPMENT DIRECTOR

The primary role of the Equipment Director is to maintain an inventory of all equipment, assess condition and replace as necessary prior to distribution to coaches. Additionally, the Equipment Director is responsible for collection of all equipment at the end of the season.

ERICA WYNSMA - EVENTS DIRECTOR

The primary role of the Events Director is to be manage all aspects of the various events the Athletic Association organizes, including Registration Night, Sports Physicals Night, Picture Day, and End-of-Year Party.

OPEN - 1ST/2ND GRADE DIRECTOR

The primary role of the 1st/2nd Grade Director is to act as a liaison for all 1st/2nd grade coaches and to address any issues involving scheduling, discipline, etc.

The primary role of the 3rd Grade Director is to act as a liaison for all 3rd grade teams and to address any issues involving scheduling, rosters, discipline, etc.

The Athletic Association has regular monthly meetings throughout the season. The Board meets on the first Tuesday of every month (unless otherwise noted) from August through May. All meetings begin at 8:00 PM and are held at American Legion, 15052 Archer Ave, Lockport, IL 60441. All meetings are open to the public and all are invited and encouraged to attend.
